Asked before signing up
Is it free?
Yes. Browsing, posting a room, and posting that you’re looking are all free. There is no fee at any point and no commission on a rental.
Do you check the listings?
We run automated checks on photos and we remove what gets reported, but we never describe a listing or a person as verified, vetted or screened. Read the safety note on every post and video-tour a place before you pay anything.
Where do the group posts come from?
They are public housing posts from groups on the open web, rewritten as short neutral summaries with a link to the original. We never republish poster names, phone numbers or screenshots, and the link is only shown to signed-in members.
Will the other person get my phone number?
No. Conversations happen in the app, attached to the post they started from. What you choose to share in the chat is up to you.
Do you handle the rent or the deposit?
No. Every rental happens directly between you and the other party. We are not an agent, an escrow service or a party to your agreement.
