Privacy Policy

This summary explains what we collect and why. It carries country-specific addenda for the United States, Canada, and Australia, and we act as an operator under India’s DPDP for users searching from India. This is product copy, not legal advice, and is pending counsel review.
What we collect
Account data: your email, first name, and anything you add to your profile (hometown, about, optional photo, optional display-only gender).
Content you create: your listings, saved searches, follows, saves, and in-app messages.
We never store government ID documents, and we do not collect the identities of people who posted content we summarize.
How we use it
To run the service: showing listings, delivering alerts you asked for, and letting people message each other in the app.
Transactional messages (sign-in codes, message notifications, receipts) are always sent. Non-transactional email (new listings and curated updates for regions you follow) is sent only with your express consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
The curated table
Some regions show short, original summaries of public posts from elsewhere on the web, each with a link to the original. We store a summary and a link, never copied text or images, and never the poster’s name or contact details.
If you are the author of an original post and want its summary removed, use the Content removal page. We honor valid requests, keep a permanent record of removed post links so they are not summarized again, and delete the details of your request after 30 days.
United States addendum
Consistent with US state privacy laws, you may request access to or deletion of your personal information. We do not sell personal information.
Canada addendum (PIPEDA)
We rely on your express consent for non-transactional email, consistent with Canadian anti-spam law. A hyperlink to a public post is not, in itself, republication of that post.
Australia addendum (APP)
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. Curated summaries are kept strictly neutral.
Retention & deletion
You can delete your account at any time; we deactivate and remove your listings and photos, anonymize your messages to the other person, and remove your profile, subscriptions, follows, and saves. Content-removal request details are purged after 30 days; the removed-post link list is kept permanently so the post is not summarized again.
