Looking for a single room in New York, NY

Hi all! My friend and I (both 26, both nurses at NYU Langone) are looking for a place together starting around October 27. What we're after: - 2 private rooms (budget is $2000 each) - Manhattan, ideally Murray Hill / Kips Bay / Gramercy so we can walk to work - Sharing a bathroom is fine - I have a car, so a spot nearby would be a bonus but not a dealbreaker We're both non-smokers, clean, and work 12-hour shifts so we're honestly barely home.
